Scriptures on dealing with hurt

Colossians 3:13

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

(Romans 5:3-5 AMP

Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and
rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and
affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character
(approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the
habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. Such hope never disappoints or deludes
or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our
hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5 AMP)

James 4:6 ESV

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
